The YI Network in France is composed of:
1 National centre: The Youth Information and Documentation Centre (CIDJ)
27 Regional Youth Information Centres (CRIJ)
4 Youth Information Centres in Paris and in the surrounding departments
1,570 Youth Information Offices or Points (BIJ or PIJ)
The Youth Information Offices have a local or inter-local vocation. The Youth Information Points are set up within the organisations visited by the youth: local youth services, youth houses, local missions, social centres, youth hostels, local associations… 25 Youth Information buses, mobile information antennas throughout France.

CIDJ
Founded in 1969 under the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Youth Information and Documentation Centre (CIDJ) is an association that welcomes and informs the youth regarding all the issues that interest and concern them.
CIDJ is:
A unique place that welcomes thousands of young people per day.
A personalised, free of charge and anonymous access to information, 6 days a week during the whole year, without a necessary appointment previously made.
The thematic areas offer a large collection of publications and free consultation.
Publications and more than 800 references in every domain that interest you can be found at the CIDJ’s library.
Individual and specialised conversations and counselling at your request with our informants and the specialised partners present in CIDJ.
Cyb Point: trainings regarding multimedia practice are organised at the CIDJ.
ERYICA Network
The European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA) is a non-profit-making international association, founded in Madrid in 1986. The association is composed of national organisations, non-governmental or governmental, which aim to guarantee the youth right to a complete and reliable information facilitating their autonomy as well as their active participation in a democratic society.
The European Information Services Network and the youth council form a European cooperation area among the structures that work in this domain and that are directly in contact with youth.
More than 5,000 general information centres and services (local and regional) are affiliated to about 20 national networks in Europe.

EURODESK Network
EURODESK is a youth information service that deals with issues regarding Europe.
It is as well a database for the European programs, organisations and work in the European field. This service is aimed for Youth Information professionals but also for the youth and the youth professionals.
In France, this program relies on the Youth Information Network and most of the CRIJ (Regional Youth Information Centres) are labelled Point Eurodesk.
