Study Year

If you come to
Belgium for your studies or for a training period, you can contact the
accommodation service of the Higher School or University you will be
studying in. This organization has a number of standard contracts,
addresses and information about legislation specific to student rooms,
etc. During the holidays, you can hire rooms for one day or more in
university towns if you are following courses, doing your thesis or
training, etc. This type of lodging is paid on a daily, weekly or
monthly basis. The rent in summer is equivalent to the rent throughout
the academic year.

Antwerp

Brussels

"Quartier latin", is
a student organization in Brussels. It offers a search engine to find
lodging for longer periods. You first have to precise the area where
you would like to stay and your maximum budget. Registration is

also the FEDAIS (federation of social estate agencies) made up of
associations that will be able to help you find cheap accommodation in
