National Pride

Belgium is the centre of Europe, but ironically, modesty is by far Belgium's national pride! For exemple: Did you know French Fries are actually Belgian Fries? Yes sir! We invented Fries, and we even named our biggest mountain after it : Baraque Fraiture. (A frituur/fritkot is a little place in the streets where they sell French Fries,... only in Belgium baby!)

Belgians love to drink and to eat and are in fact very good at it. What do you drink with some Belgian Fries? One of our famous Beers off course! TIP: Just buy chocolat in normal shops, that is way cheaper!

For the moment Belgians are very proud of their female tennisplayers. Some other people Belgians are proud of  Eddy Merckx (he won the tour the France 5 times!), Father Damien a.k.a Blessed Damien of Molokai, Jacques Brel (a famous artist!) and Manneke Pis... Oh wait, that is just a statue of a little guy pissing in Brussels.
