Money/Cost of living

Like in all member states of the Eurozone, the Euro is the official currency of Luxembourg.  Credit cards are very common, even if most commercials impose a minimum amount to accept the payment. Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard are the more commonly accepted, whereas American Express hasn't found ground yet.The cost of life is high, for example:

• a coffee: 2 Euros
• a meal in a restaurant: 8 - 15 Euros
• studio: 500- 600 euros
• bus: on a short distance: 1 Euro 50
