Money

Slovenian currency is EURO (€).
All shops accept Euros and major Credit cards as well as Maestro debit cards. There are plenty of cash machines (BANKOMAT), where one can withdraw money from debit or credit cards.

There are several banks where you can open your account during your stay in Slovenia. Banks are usually open from 08:30 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00 in the afternoon.
