If you need money

You should support yourself as far as possible. If you are legally resident in the Netherlands (with residencepermit) and cannot do so and don’t have right on any other kind of provision you are entitled to claim national assistance. There are some obligations; You have the duty to apply for work, to do your utmost for starting supporting yourself again and give all the information the social services need. You also have to engage in courses, gaining job experience for example as activities that may help you find a job. If you won’t follow this obligations you won’t get any benefits, or they will be reduced. To claim social provisions go to the CWI.
