Hostels
Hostels provide a budget oriented means of getting to know Greece. They are a cheap way to lodge safely with fellow like-minded travelers and socialize via sharing rooms with multiple bunks. Prices range from as low as €10 and up to €32 per bed.
As expected hostels do not have a concierge or common commodities such tvs or telephone devices, you will however find a number of hostels in big cities or the islands usually roofed under well preserved old mansions. Because the number of hostels is limited and during peak season the number of visitors is big, you should try to book in advance.
Hotels
You will find a great number of hotels throughout all of Greece. Hotels in Greece come in several categories.
- A Category Hotels: 5 and 4 star hotels correspond to this category.
- B Category Hotels: Accordingly 3 and 2 star hotels are included in this category.
- C Category Hotels: All hotels not belonging to the above two.
However, a C category sometimes can be better a B category one. The majority of the hotels provide all the commodities such as, HD TV sets, telephone line, room service, mini bars and usually a meal or two of the day is included in the price.
