Where to go and what to do

You have just arrived in Belgium. It is a small country on the planisphere but, Belgium has a wide range of tourist attractions.
Landscapes of Brussels, Charleroi and the Centre, hills, stone, chocolate, beer, rivers and forests in the Ardennes, the traditional housing in Famenne, marble, comics, animated dikes, the old fish market in Ostende, the Polders...
You will also notice that Belgium is rich in art. Many Belgian towns are proud of their architectural, religious or interesting military heritage.
Some of the great historic towns are: Anvers (Antwerpen), Bastogne, Bouillon, Bruges (Brugge), Bruxelles (Brussels), Dinant, Gand (Gent), Courtrai (Kortrijk), Louvain (Leuven), Liège and Namur.
Ostende (Oostende), Malines (Mechelen), Tournai, Mons, Charleroi ...are equally beautiful towns.
You will find tourist attractions to discover and to explore on the entire Belgian territory. There are museums, natural sites, architectural heritage, exhibitions, sports and cultural activities, food and drink specialities, theme parks.
