Loans

A loan with an interest rate of 2% and in some conditions a scholarship are available to students of Luxembourgish nationality and to students who have got their residence in Luxembourg. Demands have to be handed in by the 31st October for the winter semester and by the 31st March for the summer semester. Detailed information is available on: www.cedies.lu 

Grants and Scholarships

Certain communes hand out a grant to their students, when they accomplish the studies in the given time. For more information, please contact your commune. Furthermore, the CEDIES gives away encouragement grants after the accomplishment in the regular time of the first (1000 Euros) and the second university cycles (2000 Euros) and postgraduate studies (2000euros/year). The Commission for Educational Exchange offers approximately 50 scholarships for studies, teaching, and research in the United States for citizens of Belgium/Luxembourg. Have a look at their website: http://www.fulbright.be

At the beginning of the academic year several associations are also publishing advertisements for grants in the newspapers.

Tuition Fees at the University of Luxembourg
