About the place
- Beautiful landscape
- I like it because it is hidden (isolated), away from civilization
- Cool made apartments and rural houses
- Restaurant is good
- Planted trees is something I like
- It’s place where I would like to spend several days, 3 at least. To rent a house and try everything, climb a mountain, swimming, walking around a river coast, visit other interesting places- printing house, factories, old hotel, old cinema etc.
- Rijeka Crnojevica is impressive at first sight, all the way to Rijeka Crnojevica is wild nature and it’s unusual to see a town in a middle of all this
- It’s an interesting fact (interesting to listen the story) that history of Montenegro started in Rijeka Crnojevica
- Local people are very friendly, they will telling you stories about Rijeka Crnojevica, you just have to knock on the door, they have time for you
- This place is great for young people because they can swim in clean river, walking in nature, climb mountains
- Restaurant opening time is at 12:00
- Also it’s great for meditation and for young people to rest from every day stress and spend some time for themselves
- Nature is untouched, many birds
- I like it because there are no loud parties, even I like them, it is good to have a place for rest, peaceful and quiet
- Lots of forests around
- Opportunities for kayaking, swimming in the lake
- You feel secure because it’s a small city
- Central square used to be a market place is very beautiful
- 3 days is optimum for spend in Rijeka Crnojevica:
1. day for rest and walking around river, boat trip
2. day for landmarks: printing house, factory, old hotel, old cinema
3. day for activities: kayaking, swimming, hiking
Not liked by tourists
- I don’t like ruins in centre of town
- Old hotel should be rebuild
- Path to mountains should be cleaned (idea for new working camp)
- There is no plan of the site with important places to visit in Rijeka Crnojevića, plan with explanations for everything around- how many birds, what kind of trees is growing, eatable berries to pick et.
- For me it is total sad for this place to be forgotten, especially by the government
- Infrastructures should be improved (water system, sewer) but not allow shops, loud café bars etc. to keep this peaceful mood
- Improve conditions for citizens of Rijeka Crnojevica, especially for youth
- There is also necessary a bus line, frequent
- On Google earth should be point for Rijeka Crnojevica, it is confusing because river and town have same name, on some maps there is only a river and town not (other people don’t agree with this)
- It look like after war, like a ghost town
- I think there should be bicycles for rent
- This town is excellent for people who like to sleep in a tent, but there should be some accommodation – hotel
- Organized excursions to the mountains should be organized, two day excursions with sleeping in tent in mountains
