Kotor

From the corner of youth
Nature
- Nature is wonderful (the mountains look like they ‘’grow up’’ from the sea, like sea in the mountains)
- In Kotor there are many thing altogether (river, sea, mountains…)
- The beautiful view from fortress, there are people who sell juices on the top, 45 min to climb on the top
- You can find roads on mountains
Old town
- The streets are dangerous!!! But specia!
- It’s not sea the most important here!!!
- Antique buildings, old city, mountain-sea city, ‘’active’’ (vivid) town
- Bedemi – to visit definitely!
- Prices: 2 € for the fortress (but after 18:00 is for free)
- To visit church 1,5 €
Beaches
- Problem: no beaches (sand), not enough info about the town, historical background, pictures of the special places in the town
Accommodation
- Feel secure about accommodation (good !)
- Location is great, the best because of the bay and mountains
- It’s not the city for staying in
- It can be really crowded
- Sometimes there is no water on taps
Living, shopping, having fun
- When you come here it’s like at home, nice people, various clubs
- Traffic jams are awful because of the streets
- Festivals, summer carnivals, fish and wine nights
- Festivals are fantastic, all in one
- You can meet local people easily
- The best in Kotor: climbing on mountains, view, a lot of places for going out
- Really good: stores open till midnight
- Festivals are really great
Recommendations
- Recommendation – food (cusine), festivals, cleaner sea, take a round by boat
- It is needed to be in Kotor more than one or two days!!!
- More clean places needed, less cars- more bikes, swim, mountain climbing, guide for walking over mountains, mountain biking
- Local people are very nice, friendly
- The custom is to wave when you want to stop bus
