Festivals
Summer is the time for every other Finn to head out to festivals. After a dark and gloomy winter, we want to kick back and let loose with our fellow men (and women). We have festivals for music, dance, theatre, literature and visual arts, special festivals for youngsters and children, on the fields, in the city or in even in the forest. From north to south, east to west, it seems there is some cultural experience going on around every corner and behind every bush.
There are about as many music festivals in Finland as there are music genres. From the foot wiggling rhythms of Pori Jazz festival to the heavy/death/nu metal moshpits of Tuska Open Air Metal festival in Hel(l)sinki, there is definately something for everyone. Let`s have a look for some festivals.
