Conditions of entry and stay of foreign workers
The basic act that normatively defines employment of foreigners in Montenegro is the Law on Employment and Work of Foreigners (»Official Gazette of Montenegro«, numers.22/08): http://www.gom.cg.yu/files/1175075336.pdf
A foreigner may be employed, i.e. work in Montenegro, provided that:
• he/she has a work permit,
• he/she has an authorisation for permanent residence, or authorisation for temporary residence,
• he/she has concluded a work contract, i.e. civil-legal contract and
• the obliged person for registering the work has registered the work of the foreigner pursuant to the Law.
