Access to the territory

The necessary documents to get into Portugal are:

Identity card for citizens belonging to the European Union, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malta and Switzerland;

Valid passport for the citizens belonging to all the other countries.

Insurance

There is a trip insurance specially designed for students and youngsters (ISIS - International Student Service), that covers medical costs, luggage insurance, tickets cancellation. For further details contact the youth travel agencies of your country. There is also an health insurance E-111 for the citizens of all European Union and can be obtained at the Social Security Services of each country
